The ACRONYM x NIKE AIR VAPORMAX MOC 2 marks the third footwear collaboration between Nike and Errolson Hugh’s label, this time taking a forthcoming remix of the VaporMax and Air Moc and giving it a fresh technical makeover.
Errolson Hugh remains one of the most talented designers in the industry, so this forthcoming collaborative project will be highly coveted. Despite the speculative thoughts and conceptual images flying around the web at the moment, the final design has yet to be seen. The name of the model should give us a hint as to what might be coming our way in early 2018: we’re half-expecting a combination of the VaporMax full-length Air sole, paired with the upper of the classic Air Moc. Whether there will be extensive use of Flyknit across the uppers or the addition of a mid-top collar, no one knows for the moment. But despite all the speculation, we agree that you’d be hard-pressed to find many more interesting vehicles for ACRONYM’s creative genius.
The ACRONYM x NIKE AIR VAPORMAX MOC 2 is due to release in two stages: the Light Bone/Light Bone-Black colourway is scheduled for January 2018, with the Sail/Dark Stucco-Cargo Khaki and Black/Volt-Black due to follow in April 2018.
