Dame D.O.L.L.A is looking to rip up both the music scene and sneakersphere this NBA season. The Trail Blazers player is a true renaissance man: last season, he carried his team to the playoffs while also recording his debut rap album, The Letter O. Fans of the point guard will be pleased to hear that a second album is on the way, and this time it’ll coincide with the release of the adidas Dame 4.
The Dame 4 has currently been previewed in only two colourways. There’s a white and gum ‘Un-Dyed’ model, as well as a ‘Rip City’ colourway that we assume Dame will be sporting on the hardwood come October. The shoe’s mid-top has been constructed from lightweight mesh and its jagged midsole puts the ‘rip’ in ‘Rip City’. ‘YKWTII’ – you know what time it is – is written on the heel.
We’re certainly no music review site, but while we’re celebrating all things Dame D.O.L.L.A, give his new album CONFIRMED a listen when it releases. With Lil Wayne on the tracklist, it’s sure to contain some bangers.
The adidas Dame 4 (and CONFIRMED) are set for an October 6 release. The shoe will be available at select adidas retailers.
